A photo essay
After the snow, the rain and the cold, driving in and around the Prescott-Russell region last week was like driving through a fantasy landscape.
The trees in the fields, the grasses along the ditches all sparkling in the sun.
But walking in the fields became a pain for us big humans as shards of iced snow, snapped up at every step!
Not for all though as some daintily trotted along the crust.
And birds laughed at our distress, as they bounced from snow crust to tree and back, warm in their duvets.
