EscarpAction Jessup’s Falls Presents

EscarpAction’s mission is to preserve and protect our natural heritage – our air, our water, our biodiversity – for our well-being and that of generations to come. The area we protect is the Jessup’s Falls escarpment. One of the fun ways we share our love of the region is by having events! Here is a list of EscarpAction’s main events for 2019.

Jessup’s Falls Festival – July 7

The Jessup’s Falls festival is our opportunity to showcase local businesses, artists and artisans while introducing the public to the fascinating nature and history of the region while enjoying local fare.

This year’s event takes place on the last day of the free fishing week. Bring your fishing poles and join us in the shade or on the river shore, learn a bit about our region and take home dinner!

Fundraising Garage Sale – August 10

Our community garage sale fundraiser seeks to engage and support the next generation of environmentalists. Repurposing and reusing unusual or everyday objects is a great way to help our planet by reducing consumption! Proceeds from the sale go towards local schools to help students and get them thinking about their environmental impact.

Wine, Cheese & Beer – October 19

EscarpAction’s annual Wine, Cheese, and Beer fundraiser to support our mission of preserving and protecting our natural heritage – our air, our water, our biodiversity – for our well-being and that of generations to come.

Activities include a silent auction, a live auction, 50/50 draw, a mystery wine game, music and a cake auction! And lets not forget the tasty cheeses, wine and beers, as locally sourced as possible including St-Albert cheese, Bergerie des sables in Curran. Local breweries, producers, artists and artisans are invited each year to contribute to this celebration of our natural and cultural heritage.
